Lil' Smokie Jalapeno Poppers



These puppies are TO DIE FOR!! I usually don't like the typical cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped poppers, but THESE....yum! So dang good! My husband thought they were amazing too, and he's hard to please.

Ingredients:

1 Package Thick Bacon- any flavor you want
1 Package little smokies
6+ Jalapenos (as many as you need or want)
4 oz Cream Cheese
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Smokehouse Maple Rub- Or barbecue rub of your choice.
Toothpicks

Preheat oven to 350

Slice jalapenos in half and remove the ribs and seeds, rinse off. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well blended. Add a little barbecue rub in for flavor. Stuff jalapenos with cheese mixture and place little smokies on top. Cut one piece of bacon in half, and wrap around said jalapeno. Secure with a toothpick and sprinkle on barbecue rub and put on a baking sheet. Continue to do this until all jalapenos are filled. Bake for 30 minutes or until bacon is done to your liking and cheese is melted. You can also cook these on the grill.
