Redd's Apple Ale Beer Bread

Oh beer. Beer is good. I just recently tried Redd's Apple Ale and LOVED it. I opened a bottle tonight as I sat down to relax a research some recipes. I came across beer bread somewhere, and it hit me. I need to make a sweet Redd's Apple Ale bread!!! Beer helps you come up some brilliant ideas too, apparently! This is SO damn easy a caveman can do it. You know, if they had flour and beer. Poor cavemen.  Enough jibber jabber! Lets have our beer and eat it too!

Ingredients:

3 C. All purpose flour
1/3 C. Sugar
1/3 C. Light Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 Tbsp cinnamon-or more to taste
Dash of nutmeg
1/2 C. Applesauce
1 12 ounce Redd's Apple Ale beer.
3 Tbsp Melted Butter

Preheat oven to 350. Grease your loaf pan and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. In a separate bowl, combine applesauce and beer. Pour wet ingredients into your dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared loaf pan and carefully drizzle your melted butter on top. (YUM) Bake in preheated oven for 55-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Leave it sit in the loaf pan a couple of minutes and flip onto a rack to cool, then chow down! So good!
